Essential Phone first shipment

After leaving Google, founding a new company and announcing a new device, there’s finally a shipping date for Andy Rubin’s Essential Phone.

Customers who have reserved a device are now receiving an email from Essential company notifying that the order will be shipped within a week.

The shipment itself should be free of charge and should take two to three days once the device itself is officially shipped.

While that’s probably great news to hear however, there’s also a but, two buts actually.

The first but is that it will ship only to a selected area – currently the US only.

Another but is that folks who have ordered the Essential 360 Camera will have to wait until you’ll get a separate email once the camera is ready for shipment too.

The Essential Phone, besides being the founder of Android’s creation, also boast at being a Phone focused on users, for users. Which is why it won’t have any logos of the company who made it ingrained.

In addition to other great tech Essential is equipped with, the device will of course ship with Android as its operating system.
