Kodi 17.3 PVR addon missing

This is a quick update regarding a new Kodi version, released just mere 4 days after its predecessor.

According to Team Kodi, the release of Kodi version 17.2 was missing a few basic components (binary add-ons like PVR, visualisation and Inputstream) which was only discovered after the release went live.

Hence, in order to supply the missing parts, the team decided the best route to do so is by delivering a quick release of a newer version, otherwise known in the developers jargon as a ‘quick bump’.

Also, aside from filling the gaps, 17.3 also includes a fix for a specific platform – Linux, which is mostly relevant for “older distros like Ubuntu 14.04 with GCC 4.8 compiler”.

If you haven’t updated your Kodi version to, at least, version 17.2 yet, then it’s probably a good time to do so, as it includes an important fix for a security vulnerability, in addition to other bug fixes as well.
